THEY DID IT!
Their hard work paid off! Administrative Assistant Josef Sloan and his brother Jack took to the roads on their bikes on Sunday 7th July, and have raised a huge £480 for Headway Blackpool Wyre and Fylde.
The boys rode from Media City in Manchester to South Promenade in Blackpool. They were proud to be doing this epic journey to raise vital funds for Headway Blackpool Wyre and Fylde, a charity that is close to their hearts. Headway Blackpool supports those with acquired brain injuries, their families and carers.
After the ride Josef said: “After six and a half hours of cycling me and Jack Sloan finally made it, we’re both extremely tired 😂 thank you all so much for donating we reached a massive amount of £480, I originally was happy hitting £100! Can I also say massive thank you to Steve Unsworth and Stuart Taylor for all of the huge support during the cycle, I was struggling so much and they both did nothing but spur me on! Thank you so much.”
